About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
Kim Larsen was popular and down-to-earth like few others. With more than 500 recorded songs, his distinctive manner and straightforward language, he won the hearts of Danish people.
His lyrics span widely with an eye for unconventional characters, women and life's many facets. Through music, stories and personal anecdotes, Flemming brings the audience close to Kim Larsen -- the person, the musician and the story behind the songs.
In his musical lectures he alternates between lively storytelling, group singing and music, which creates an intimate and atmospheric experience where the audience becomes an active part of the evening. Flemming's story also covers a more private side of Kim Larsen and a stubborn streak, but above all about a industrious performer who loved to take the stage -- and did so right to the end.
