BJØRN EIDSVÅG AND BJARTE TJØSTHEIM ON TOUR -- LAUGHTER, MUSIC AND A TOUCH OF GRACE Two of Norway's most beloved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, join forces for a truly special tour. With a unique combination of warmth, humour and musical quality, they invite the audience to an evening filled with laughter, wonder and reflection.

Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for several years. They have joked and fooled around together in Radio Reception, and Bjørn has guest-starred in Bjarte's TV series The Vicar, where he among other things played a slightly tipsy version of himself.

Now they join forces, wit and the little wisdom they have, in a shared performance. There will be jesting and banter, but they will also attempt to reflect on small and large questions; they are good at wondering.

Both have a church background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it is like to fall short. They are both tough and tender, and not least good at passing merciless judgement on themselves.

At the same time they hunt for grace, for someone who can bear them as they are. The audience can expect a performance filled with laughter, music and reflection.

Eidsvåg's excellent band will provide musical weight, and Tjøstheim will also contribute with his rhythmic skills. Whether it will be edifying and soul-stirring is not known.

But it will definitely not be boring; the performance is too short for that. "In autumn 2025 we performed 38 shows with 'Bjørn & Bjarte, the tough and the tender'. We have now had a break, but will soon be ready for another round.

This is some of the best things I have done in my career. Sharing the stage with Bjarte Tjøstheim is a joy.
