Doors open: 18:30 Concert starts: 20:00 CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WITH LISE DAVIDSEN OPERA STAR LISE DAVIDSEN TAKES TO NORWEGIAN ARENAS WITH CHRISTMAS CONCERT One of today's greatest opera stars, Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen, announces her biggest concerts in Norway: Oslo Spektrum 5 December and DNB Arena in Stavanger 2 December 2026. She brings with her a number of acclaimed collaborators, KORK, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Grete Pedersen, Soloists Choir Young and Leif Ove Andsnes, and performs well-known Christmas classics.

Lise Davidsen, often referred to as "the voice of the century", has in a few years established herself as a dominant force on the world's biggest opera stages. She is a regular guest at the Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper and Royal Opera House in London, and has received exceptional response from both audiences and critics.

For the concert at Oslo Spektrum she brings both the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra (KORK) and Soloists Choir Young, whilst in Stavanger she is joined by Soloists Choir Young and Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. Grete Pedersen and Leif Ove Andsnes are with her at both concerts. -- It is grand to have a Christmas concert in Spektrum and DNB Arena, but I am really looking forward to it.

Christmas music with Grete, KORK, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Soloists Choir Young I think will be really good. Christmas is a lovely time to go to a concert and I hope many will make the trip and come into the Christmas spirit with us, says Lise Davidsen.

Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she won top prizes at Operalia, the Queen Sonja Competition and Hans Gabor Belvedere. Since then she has had triumphant debuts at the world's leading opera houses and festivals, which invite her back time and again.

Among the highlights we find BBC Proms, Salzburg Easter Festival, Carnegie Hall debut and the prestigious Summer Night Concert in Vienna in front of over 100,000 audience members. Her solo concert on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera was sold out. -- Lise Davidsen has a voice without equal.
