Thomas Breinholt has spent years investigating the connection between mind and body and has interviewed more than 40 leading researchers around the world. Thomas Breinholt is one of Denmark's most engaged communicators of knowledge about body and psyche.
He is trained in biology and natural sciences. As a journalist, author and factual and documentary editor, he has dedicated himself over several years to uncovering what actually creates health in us -- not only in theory, but also in practice.
He is behind the book Can You Think Yourself Well? and the TV 2 documentary series of the same name, in which he has challenged both experts and himself with the question of whether thoughts can heal the body. In this thought-provoking lecture, he delves into questions such as: Why does placebo work?
How do stress, loneliness and relationships affect our health? What significance do childhood trauma and life circumstances have for illness?
