About the event

If you have a wheelchair with you, you're welcome to write to info@rust.dk After returning in 2025 with the singles "Nightcrawling" and "You Can Be So Cruel", London-based indie rockers The Howlers are back with their new single "Viper", which came out on 7 May.
The latest release is followed by the announcement of their second album, 'Heavy', which comes out on 9 October --- a bold, sensual statement as the band enters their most defining chapter to date. Driven by a pulsing riff, a relentless rhythm section and raw, pressing energy, "Viper" captures The Howlers at their most direct --- indie rock 'n' roll rooted in tension, desire and consequence.
It sets the tone for 'Heavy', an album where frontman Adam Young takes his songwriting into darker and more impulsive territory. After a period of change in late 2024, The Howlers entered a new phase where Adam Young rebuilt the project as a duo with drummer Toby Richards --- a shift that changed both the band's sound and creative direction and gave a renewed sense of focus and identity.
This reset came on the back of a breakthrough year. Their self-financed debut album 'What You've Got to Lose to Win It All' was met with great European recognition and reached the Top 10 on the UK Independent Breakers Charts.
That momentum translated directly to the stage, where a sold-out headline tour in the UK across 18 dates cemented the band as one of the country's most exciting live acts, followed by a European tour with sold-out concerts in eight countries. Whilst the debut was marked by grief and personal loss, 'Heavy' springs from an entirely different place.
The album is driven by the tension between desire and consequence, arrogance and reality, and is illuminated by the attraction of the night, the rush of impulse and the clear reflection that follows after.
