About Pinhead Gunpowder
Pinhead Gunpowder is an American punk rock band that formed in the East Bay area of California in 1991. The group currently features Aaron Cometbus, Bill Schneider on bass, Billie Joe Armstrong and Jason White. The band's distinctive name originates from a brand of high-octane green tea served at the Arcata co-op, which Aaron Cometbus discovered during his dumpster diving adventures. Known for their energetic punk sound, they continue to represent the vibrant punk rock scene that emerged from California's East Bay.
