About The Rasmus
The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band formed in 1994 in Helsinki by schoolmates including Lauri Ylönen and original members Eero Heinonen, Pauli Rantasalmi and Jarno Lahti. The line-up has evolved over the decades, with Aki Hakala joining as drummer in 1999 and guitarist Emppu Suhonen replacing Rantasalmi in 2022. Best known for their 2003 hit single In the Shadows, the band has built a substantial global following and represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 with their song Jezebel.
