Jaleesa Johnson - Women In Office

With a vocal that hits both softly and goes straight to the heart, Jaleesa Johnson has in a short time established herself as one of the most exciting new voices on the Danish soul scene. Her music moves effortlessly between neo-soul, jazz and organic retro sounds -- with a sound that feels both timeless and completely current.

In October 2025 she released her critically acclaimed debut album Sodalite, which received praise for its honesty, depth and musical integrity. Here she brings together personal narratives with larger themes about identity, strength and finding one's own voice -- all carried by a rare present vocal.

Before stepping forward as a solo artist, Jaleesa was a sought-after backing singer for names such as Coco O. and Alex Vargas, but now she stands fully front and centre with her own artistic expression. Live she is known for creating an intense and intimate concert experience, where the audience is drawn completely close -- regardless of the size of the stage.

Her concerts have already delighted both audiences and reviewers, among others at Roskilde Festival and Vega earlier this year. When Jaleesa visits Women In Office, you can expect a concert experience that both moves, uplifts and stays with you long after the last note has faded.
