About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
Lecture with Nikolaj Jacobsen - At mine, you put in the effort National team coach Nikolaj Jacobsen in an inspiring lecture about his success story, which is paved with preparation, focus, expectation pressure, hunger, ambitions -- and good humour He has already won everything worth winning in men's national team handball. But if you think Nikolaj Jacobsen has grown tired of winning, think again.
The hunger for the next triumph constantly rages in the national team coach's body, and as the years have passed -- from the first World Championship gold medal in 2019 over four further World Championship triumphs, Olympic gold and a European Championship -- the ambitions for new victories seem only to grow in the man with great responsibility. In his new lecture -- 'AT MINE, YOU PUT IN THE EFFORT' -- Nikolaj Jacobsen enthusiastically tells about his own homespun leadership philosophy, which is perfected month by month in cooperation with a highly competent staff and a number of the world's best male handball players. 'AT MINE, YOU PUT IN THE EFFORT' is a lecture about ambition and community.
About daring to fail. About learning from your mistakes.
About the drive in the national team coach. About the national team coach's ability to transfer this drive to those around him.
And about the importance of knowing that the raw material is people and not machines. It will certainly be both thought-provoking, moving, surprising and fun when Nikolaj Jacobsen through concrete experiences, engaging video clips and overarching reflections tells about the men's national team's journey from close-but-not-quite to what is beginning to look like history's best men's handball team.
A team where you put in the effort. Every time.
