About UB40
UB40 are an English reggae band formed in Birmingham in December 1978. The multicultural group features musicians of English, Welsh, Irish, Jamaican, Scottish and Yemeni descent. They have achieved substantial chart success with more than fifty UK singles and considerable international recognition, selling over 100 million records worldwide. The band received four Grammy nominations for Best Reggae Album and a Brit Award nomination for Best British Group in 1984.
