About the event

From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.

Manifest Fatherland Support: Machine + Blind Reaction Saturday 17th October 20:00 // 275.- // 20 years --------------------------------- --------------------------------- It's always Christmas Eve at the local pizza shop on Brugata when Manifest release a new album. On 18th September the band releases their 6th studio album under the title "Nothing Left To Kill", we're celebrating with a Christmas party at Vaterland on Saturday 17th October.

Rumour has it that this is a band that has taken a step back towards the rawness of their earlier material. That alone should be enough to give everyone who has experienced Manifest live goosebumps.

Since the start way back in '99, Manifest has stood out as a razor-sharp machine armed with thrash-inspired riffs and deadly brutality fired up with hardcore's energy and intensity. A sheer frontal assault led by vocal infantryman Stian Leknes who can only be described as the very incarnation of a fit-to-burst blood vessel on the forehead of mankind in its darkest moment.

With technical brilliance and tons of groove in the rhythmic foundation, plus riffs and songwriting overflowing with creativity, Manifest is a complex machinery that also knows how to switch off and just crush it when required. They have toured far and wide, and shared stages with greats such as Napalm Death, Meshuggah and Entombed.

Their uncompromising quality keeps the audience on their toes, and their infectious energy has spread far beyond the country's borders. That they now have a brand new album to celebrate in an intimate setting at Vaterland is simply something everyone who likes hot metal should look forward to.
