About the event

From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.

Following last year's release of the album Hvor skal alle sammen, Karen Musæus returns to SALT on Tuesday 5 November. Where she last performed with a full band, the songs this evening will be presented in a more stripped-back format as a trio.

Joining her on stage are Lars Andreas Aspesæter on piano and David Aleksander Sjølie on guitar. Together they take on the songs from the latest album, in addition to newer material, in a setting that gives good space to the strong melodies and lyrics that characterise Karen's music.

Karen Musæus has established herself as an artist with an intimate and personal delivery. Her music draws inspiration from both Nordic folk pop and the singer-songwriter tradition, and has been described as both sophisticated and engaging.
