Ibens

30 years on from the blue bicycle: ibens play anniversary concerts On 10 February 2027 it will be 30 years since ibens' legendary debut album was released, featuring songs such as 'I miss my blue bicycle', 'Ølstykke in November', 'Solveig' and 'Deathly ill Sunday'. The anniversary will be marked on and around the anniversary date with three concerts at Hotel Cecil, Copenhagen, and subsequently with a series of concerts around the country.

Here the album will be performed in its entirety by the band in its original line-up: Carsten Lykke (vocals, guitar), Henrik Marstal (bass, backing vocals) and Kristian Obling Høeg (drums). Since the debut, ibens have been active in several periods, and the band reached number 1 on the official vinyl charts in 2019 with the album carstenshenrikskristians, which was followed the following year by Cocio & beton. ibens' debut album received very positive responses at the time from names such as Steffen Brandt and Kim Larsen and contributed to a new wave of Danish-language music with everyday lyrics being able to emerge.

Names such as Peter Sommer, Juncker and Nephew have cited ibens as a central inspiration. But above all, the songs from back then have never been forgotten by the audience.

And no name since then has quite sounded like ibens. Come and join us in celebrating the album and the anniversary. ---------------------------------- Friday 30 April 2027, 20.00 Pre-sale: 250 kroner (incl. cloakroom and fee) Door sale: 270 kroner The bar is open from 19.00 Hall doors open 30 minutes before show start Standing room
