About Hayseed Dixie
Hayseed Dixie is an American bluegrass band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2000. They specialise in rockgrass, a self-created musical genre combining bluegrass cover versions of hard rock songs with original tracks of satirical and absurdist nature. Their debut album was A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC, a project that inspired their band name as a linguistic play on the legendary rock group.
