About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
On 'real' love in the age of AI -- Benke is back with love classics! In Fredrik 'Benke' Rydman's interpretation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, he brings the classic into a world where we feed our need for love with AI.
With an AI partner, nothing is difficult and all needs are satisfied. In a time when genuine love is lacking, hatred can grow.
When Romeo and Juliet meet, something entirely different happens, something they have never experienced, love that intoxicates. That hurts and that causes pain.
But what if she isn't real? If the love isn't real?
Then he no longer wants to live. His love for her makes him sick and he has to know if she is genuine.
Perhaps the only way is to kill her? Everyone knows how the story ends, but do you know how real love can feel?
Performance length: 75 minutes
