About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
On "real" love in the age of AI -- Benke is back with a love classic! In Fredrik "Benke" Rydman's interpretation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, he brings the classic into a world where we feed our need for love with AI.
With an AI partner, nothing is difficult and all needs are satisfied. In a time where genuine love is lacking, hatred can grow.
When Romeo and Juliet meet, something completely different happens, something they have never experienced, love that intoxicates. Love that hurts and that pains.
But what if she is not real? If the love is not real?
Then he no longer wants to live. His love for her makes him ill and he must find out if she is genuine.
Perhaps the only way is to kill her? Everyone knows how the story ends, but do you know how real love can feel?
Performance length: 75 minutes
