De Staat comes to Oslo and John Dee on 1 April! They have established themselves as one of Europe's most innovative and uncompromising live bands, and have continuously pushed the boundaries of what a rock band can be.
They are current with the long-awaited, self-titled album, art installation and live show. The project marks almost 25 years of boundary-breaking work within art rock.
The music ranges from industrial grooves and heavy riffs to experimental electronics and catchy pop. It has been used in international campaigns and games, and the band has received Edison Awards, 3FM Awards, several music video awards and a Bernays Lifetime Achievement Award, in addition to broad international recognition from critics.
De Staat has played at several of the world's largest festivals, and toured with bands such as The Rolling Stones, Muse and Biffy Clyro. -- The event has an 18-year age limit with ID requirement. No guardian arrangement.
Identification will be checked for all attendees assumed to be under 25. Valid identification includes a physical national ID card, passport, physical driver's licence or a photo ID bank card.
