About the event

From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.

It has been years since the legendary singer Omara Portuondo last entered a recording studio. Known in her time as the "Queen of Feeling", her voice was celebrated throughout Cuba... until she disappeared from the spotlight.

But when an ambitious young music producer offers her a unique opportunity, the elusive diva is finally forced to confront her past. Acclaimed as a "stunning, moving and unmissable" spectacle (The Washington Post), Buena Vista Social Club, winner of the Tony® and GRAMMY® awards, is a journey through music and memories to the beating heart of Havana.

With a first-rate cast, this musical brings the emblematic album to life in a story of big dreams, second chances and music that needs no translation.
