What to expect
Børneteater: Den Glade Løve is a family event at Teaterbygningen, 33 km from the centre of Copenhagen. It is a good pick for something a bit different. If you want to make a night of it, 7 other events are on in Copenhagen the same day.
About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
A warm and witty puppet theatre performance for the little ones, based on Louise Fatio's book The Happy Lion. It is the story of the lion who everyone loves when he sits so nicely in his cage -- but when one day he goes out to look around, everyone suddenly becomes afraid of him.
A series of situations arise that he doesn't understand at all, but fortunately he has a true friend in the boy Francois and makes it safely home again. The Happy Lion is about the wonder of going out into the world alone for the first time.
About being brand new, curious, different and foreign in a new universe and the great upheaval when everything out there is so different from home. And then The Happy Lion is about friendship!
It is a small intimate performance for the smallest children. The theatre performance takes place on the floor with children in front and adults behind.
The performance is for children aged 2 to 5 years.
Duration: approximately 30 minutes. Price 65 kr. including fee Unnumbered seats Doors to the auditorium open 5 minutes before the performance See more at
