Bestemors fantastisk elendige historier og Roalds magi

Grandmother's Fantastically Dreadful Stories and Roald's Magic - a rambunctious, touching and wildly absurd performance By: Patrik Stenseth The performance is produced by Østfold International Theatre in collaboration with The Lucky Ones. In this performance we meet a boy who is quite simply called Roald, and his grandmother, who is quite simply useless.

Roald's mother has decided that he should stay overnight at his grandmother's in Sarpsborg. But grandmother smells odd and would much rather do as little as possible.

Besides, she hates having visitors! Fearing he will be bored to death, Roald decides to get his grandmother to tell stories.

She agrees to give it a try -- but it doesn't take long before Roald discovers that grandmother is fantastically terrible at telling anything at all. So when grandmother starts a story, and can't finish it -- Roald takes over.

With a bit of imagination and a bit of chocolate, there are no limits to where they might end up! Because suddenly the living room is filled with slimy goblins, a chocolate river, a rat-neighbour, the giant Gre Åker and peculiar creatures from other planets!

The performance is inspired by Roald Dahl's authorship and life, and perhaps most by the desire that imagination can change the world just a little bit.
