About Ed O'brien
Ed O'Brien is an English guitarist and songwriter best known as co-founder and member of Radiohead. Alongside schoolmates at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire, he helped form the rock band and has been integral to their sound ever since. O'Brien creates ambient textures and effects using sustain units and the EBow whilst providing backing vocals, describing his role as supporting Thom Yorke's songwriting with layered, atmospheric guitar work.
