On 3 October 2027 she takes over the Opera House with her distinctive musical universe and new album The Meaning of Flowers in tow. For more than 15 years, Agnes Obel has created her own unique musical universe at the intersection of alternative pop, neoclassical music, jazz and electronic soundscapes.

With platinum-selling albums such as Philharmonics and Aventine as well as Citizen of Glass and Myopia, she has established herself as an internationally recognised songwriter, artist and producer. On 18 September 2026 she releases her fifth studio album, The Meaning of Flowers -- her first album in six years.

The album marks a new chapter for Obel, whose music over the years has also found its way into international productions such as The Last of Us, True Detective and Big Little Lies. After a five-year break from the stage, Agnes Obel returned in 2025 with, amongst other things, two sold-out concerts at DR Koncerthuset, where GAFFA gave it five stars.

On 3 October 2027 you can experience her at the Opera House with music from The Meaning of Flowers and her critically acclaimed back catalogue. DTD Concerts presents Agnes Obel.
