About Transvision Vamp
Transvision Vamp are an English pop rock band formed in Putney, London in 1986 by guitarist Nick Christian Sayer and lead singer Wendy James. Popular during the late 1980s, they achieved ten UK singles chart hits and considerable success in Australia. Their biggest hits were "I Want Your Love" from their debut album Pop Art and "Baby I Don't Care" from their second album Velveteen, which reached number one in the UK and number two in Australia. The band split in 1992.
