About Snarky Puppy

Snarky Puppy is an American jazz fusion band led by bassist Michael League. Founded in 2004, the ensemble combines jazz idioms with rock, world music and funk, performing as an instrumental outfit despite occasionally collaborating with vocalists. League characterises the group as "a pop band that improvises a lot, without vocals", capturing their distinctive approach to blending multiple musical styles into a cohesive, groove-driven sound.
