Richard Thompson tours the UK with the Richard Thompson Band to mark the release of his new album Hippies, Thugs and Heroes. The show highlights Thompson?s unmistakable guitar work, sharp songwriting and the energy that has defined his five-decade career.
He?s joined by powerhouse drummer Michael Jerome, bassist Tara Prodaniuk, harmony vocalist Zara Phillips, and guitarist/mandolin player Zak Hobbs, whose playing brings a fresh edge to the band?s sound. Together they deliver a tight, dynamic set that moves confidently between electric intensity and acoustic detail.
This tour presents Thompson at full strength ? a veteran artist still pushing forward, backed by a band built for impact.
