About Placebo

Placebo are a British alternative rock band formed in London in 1994 by vocalist-guitarist Brian Molko and bassist-guitarist Stefan Olsdal, who have stayed as the two permanent members since the beginning. The band has worked with three full-time drummers across their existence, establishing themselves as fixtures in the alternative rock landscape. Their sound blends rock sensibilities with experimental approaches to the genre.
