The action takes place on the set of the reality show Necropolis Cabaret, where three corpses—disappeared, forgotten or ignored—compete by telling their tragedies with humour and audacity to win the audience's vote. The prize?

That someone finds their remains and gives them a dignified burial. The show is hosted by scavenging animals, experts in corpses and ratings, the only ones who still remember them.

Between corrosive humour and cabaret acts, the programme laughs so as not to cry and launches a fierce critique of a country where "there are dead people all year round"... so many that they no longer even appear in the statistics.
