What to expect
El Exorcista is a horror show at Teatro Mexico (CTMF), 4.4 km from the centre of Mexico City. It is a good pick for a night at the theatre. If you want to make a night of it, 24 other events are on in Mexico City the same day.
About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
Regan MacNeil, a twelve-year-old girl, begins to experience disturbing changes in her behaviour. What at first appears to be an emotional disturbance or a medical problem soon becomes a succession of inexplicable phenomena that terrify her mother, Chris.
Desperate and unable to find answers, Chris turns to the Church, where Father Damien Karras, a priest tormented by his own doubts, and the experienced Father Merrin face a demonic presence that seems to have taken possession of the girl. In a struggle marked by fear, faith and sacrifice, the priests must confront not only the evil that dwells in Regan, but also their own crises of conscience.
A dark and disturbing story about human fragility, the power of faith and the battle between good and evil.
