About the event
From the organizer, as published on Ticketmaster.
For this special evening at Scullers Jazz Club, trumpeter Duane Eubanks brings together an extraordinary quintet to celebrate the music and legacy of Philadelphia jazz legend Lee Morgan. A Philadelphia native and deeply connected to the city's rich jazz tradition, Eubanks has established his own distinctive voice as a trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and educator.
For this tribute, he is joined by four remarkable musicians whose individual artistry brings depth, power, and character to the music. Antonio Hart --- alto saxophone A celebrated altoist and masterful improviser, Hart brings a commanding yet lyrical voice to the front line.

Kenny Davis --- bass A veteran bassist known for his powerful groove, melodic sensibility, and exceptional versatility, Davis provides the foundation that allows the music to breathe, swing, and take unexpected turns. Byron Landham --- drums A dynamic drummer with deep Philadelphia roots, Landham brings precision, drive, and an unmistakable sense of swing.
His playing provides the rhythmic engine for a band built around the energy and spirit of hard bop. Together, these five musicians create a band that honors Lee Morgan without simply recreating the past.
The music is approached with respect for Morgan's unmistakable voice while leaving room for interpretation, improvisation, and the individual personalities of today's players. From Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, to Boston, the Hub, this is a meeting of mus
