About Basement
Basement are an English rock band from Ipswich, Suffolk, who formed in 2009 and have kept the same five members throughout their history. The lineup features brothers Andrew and James Fisher on lead vocals and drums, alongside lead guitarist Ronan Crix, rhythm guitarist Alex Henery and bassist Duncan Stewart. Initially active between 2009 and 2012, they released two studio albums before taking a break. The band reunited between 2014 and 2019 with two further releases, then returned sporadically in the early 2020s before a full comeback around 2023, boosted by their song Covet gaining widespread popularity on TikTok. Their fifth studio album Wired arrived in May 2026.
