What to expect
Así Lo Veo Yo: Monólogo René Dupeyron is a monologue show at Teatro SOGEM Wilberto Cantón, 4.9 km from the centre of Mexico City. It is a good pick for a night at the theatre. If you want to make a night of it, 10 other events are on in Mexico City the same day.
About the event
From the organiser, as published on Ticketmaster.
You don't come to watch theatre. You come to watch yourself.
This is not an ordinary play. It is the true story of a man who dared to face what is hardest: Addictions, loneliness, rejection and the weight of living in a skin that sometimes hurts.
For just over an hour, you won't just listen to a monologue... you will experience a collective catharsis. Every word is a mirror in which you inevitably recognise yourself.
Life with addictions is not a speech: it is a daily war. This play doesn't soften it, doesn't hide it, doesn't make it up.
It lays it bare. And at the same time, it shows how, even in the midst of darkness, it is possible to find light, love and strength.
This is not entertainment: it is a jolt to consciousness. A brutal, luminous and profoundly human experience that no one forgets.
