About The Boo Radleys
The Boo Radleys are an English alternative rock band who emerged from Wallasey in 1988, becoming prominent fixtures of the shoegazing and Britpop movements throughout the 1990s. Led by singer and guitarist Simon Rowbottom alongside guitarist and songwriter Martin Carr and bassist Tim Brown, the group took their name from the character Boo Radley in Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird. The band went on hiatus in 1999 but remain significant figures in British alternative rock history.
