Chanty Beluga is a fictional character created and portrayed by comedian Courtney O'Donnell. Chanty's creation was a happy accident, during the final stretches of an improvised 10-day movie shoot in Brooklyn, New York. While the name started as an inside joke between cast mates, the charming millennial persona quickly grew after Chanty shared short, simple interactions of her everyday life on Instagram
